DigiMedia4SEN (Advanced Digital Media Literacy and Countering Disinformation for Seniors) is an Erasmus+ KA210-ADU project designed to strengthen the digital resilience of adults aged 50+ in an increasingly complex online information environment. The project addresses the challenges seniors face in accessing reliable information, identifying misinformation, and using digital media critically and safely. Through transnational cooperation among adult education and media organisations from Türkiye, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic, DigiMedia4SEN promotes digital inclusion, lifelong learning, and active citizenship in line with Erasmus+ priorities.
The main objectives of the project are:
* To improve digital media literacy skills of adults aged 50+
* To strengthen critical thinking and fact-checking competences
* To enhance the professional capacity of adult and media educators
* To increase awareness of disinformation and its social impact
* To promote the use of reliable information sources and verification tools
* To foster active citizenship and democratic participation among seniors
* To support digital inclusion and reduce the digital divide
